I started playing golf at the age of 13 with my dad. I was
very fortunate because my dad taught me the discipline of practice
no matter what subject or aspect of life.
I was also fortunate in growing up at one of Arthur Hill's favorite
designs. A golf course named "Shaker Run" in Middletown, Ohio. Just
a few miles away from where i grew up in Franklin, Ohio.
My luck continued with my early teachers: Mike McGee, Larry King, Tal Selby.
All accomplished players in their own right!
Even in the worst weather that Ohio could produce I practiced everyday. This is
why i have always considered myself a mudder.
Basically everthing that I have done since the age of 14 was in the direction of
becoming a PGA Tour Player. Its the only thing I have ever wanted to do!
